We are hiring at Sears Canada @ St. John's, Avalon Mall

Part-time / Temporary / Contract

 

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions in a timely manner. Assist in merchandise replenishment and recovery as needed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide fun and friendly service to customers at point-of-sale by processing all transactions quickly and accurately, according to Sears Canada policies. Utilize all equipment properly and report any deficiencies to a Lead or Manager as soon as possible.
  • Accurately communicate store policies to customers in an effective, friendly, and timely manner.
  • Support adjacent areas in merchandise replenishment as needed.
  • Work in compliance with all laws and regulations and attend or complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative and team player spirit
  • Eagerness to make a difference
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and deal with last minute changes
